投保旅平險 保障範圍看清楚

旅平險雖然已經是許多人相當熟悉的險種，壽險業者提醒，仍有許多投保注意事項須留意，才不會在需要理賠時，出現爭議事端。
壽險業者舉例，像是旅平險規定必須在「搭機前」購買，一旦坐上飛機後便不能加保，所以都會建議民眾及早做好完整的保障規畫。
另外，也要留意「保障期間」的設定，開始時間應設定「從家裡出發前往機場」的時間，終止時間應設置「抵達家門」的時間，若保障期間設定的不完整，就會發生遇事不保的窘境。
至於若只是透過信用卡贈送的旅平險，保障規定、限制更多。首先，信用卡附加的旅平險內容，其實保障範圍是指搭乘大眾運輸工具期間，以及前後5小時，發生意外才會理賠。
換而言之，一般人出國跟團所搭乘包車方式的遊覽車出問題，或是在其他時間發生意外，是無法獲得賠償。進一步解釋，如果飛機是中午12時起飛，起飛前5小時，也就是同一天早上7時到中午12時之間，若持卡人搭乘公共交通工具到機場，搭乘的期間才是在旅平險的保障範圍。
而且如果持卡人不是搭乘公共交通工具到機場，而是自行開車前往機場，因為交通工具不同，就不在保障範圍內。
同時，沒有搭飛機的時候，也不一定在信用卡旅平險的保障範圍內，換句話說，刷卡付團費、機票所提供的旅平險，主要的保障範圍是針對搭乘飛機等大眾運輸工具出國、返國。
